Image Into Type Tutorial



Step 1: Press the letter "D" to set your foreground to black Type your text using a large sized font.


Step 2: Open the image you would like to use inside your text.

Step 3: Switch to the move tool then click and hold on tis and drag and drop it into your original document. You should now have 3 layers: (1) your background layer, (2) your type layer, (3)   layer with the image.
 
Step 4: Click on your image layer to make sure it is active. Press Apple + G. Your image will now appear inside your type. 

Step 5: you can now reposition you image within you type by clicking and dragging with the move tool (to undo this effect press Shift + Apple + G).

Step 6: If you would like to add another effect such as drop shadow , make your type layer active by clicking on it in your layers palette.
